Health Inspiration For Real Life
Looking to book a wellness speaker who brings Expertise, Clarity and Inspiration?
You’re in the right place.
I speak at conferences, workplace wellbeing events, retreats, offsites, and innovation forums, helping audiences reconnect with what health really means in the middle of modern life.
No hype. No fads. Just honest, evidence-informed, deeply human insight into what helps us stay well; as individuals, professionals, and teams.
My Approach
We already have access to the world’s health knowledge at our fingertips, freely, 24/7.
It is not a lack of information holding us back anymore. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. There is so much information bombarding us it is completely overwhelming, and almost impossible to decide what to prioritise given that none of us can ‘do it all’.
What I offer through my talks, workshops and event facilitation is instead is both a filter and a translation. I focus on sharing the missing bridges between essential knowledge and action, between individual habits and the systems that shape them, and between ‘could be doing’ and ‘actually doing’.
My talks are clarifying, empowering and inspiring. Reassuring audiences that they know a lot already, that they’re not alone in finding the basics hard to do, but that there are ways to make the path forwards simpler and more enjoyable.
I do this by bringing together a unique combination of lenses:
A former NHS doctor, who understands the frontline realities of care, importance of medicine and clinical safety.
A nutritionist and wellbeing educator, grounded in almost a decade’s experience of multiple areas of lifestyle medicine, and the essential impact of self-care and preventative everyday actions.
A health innovation and systems thinker, who knows how to help make complex ideas work in the real world.
I am not an influencer. Instead, I have focussed on developing real expertise and insight offline. What I (consciously) lack in digital followers, I make up for in real-world experience.
If you’re looking for a n expert speaker or facilitator who brings credibility, compassion and clarity to health topics, please do get in touch.
Because I love this part of my work so much, I consider all opportunities for speaking, including retreats, wellbeing days, community and corporate events.
Popular Keynotes & Talks
I offer keynote talks, team sessions, workshops and retreats for both clinical and non-clinical audiences. Perfect for workplace wellbeing events, retreats or offsites. Flexible formats available, from 30-minute keynotes to full-day facilitation.

-
This is my signature talk, covering the evidence-based core of what it really takes to be healthy (exploring the deeply practical Wheel of Health), but why that is often hard to do in reality.
We then explore why it’s so hard, uncovering the 5 hidden barriers getting in our way, before walking through my CLEAR Methodology™ framework, heping to clear the path to lasting change.
This is a comprehensive talk covering all my key approaches to both Knowing and Doing health.
It is best delivered as a longer talk or workshop, ideally spilt into 2 × 60 minute sessions as a minimum. It can extend to a morning if small group work, or personal self-reflective exercises are included.
Suitable for both expert clinical teams and non-clinical groups or audiences.
Handouts: The Wheel of Health framework, Core Health Habits, The Hidden Barriers, The Clear Methodology™.

Wellbeing at work is often given more lipservice than meaningful action. But given that many of us spend a huge chunk of our waking hours at work, and individual wellbeing plays a significant role in our focus, productivity and efficacy, it is a no-brainer to do it properly.
How? This talk explores it all. We have 6 fundamental wellbeing needs (explored through the Wheel of Health), all of which can be benefited, or harmed, by our workplace environment. Even the simplest of actions can have outsized effects here when they are multiplied by time spent at work.
Suitable for working teams of all types; clinical or non-clinical.
This talk lasts approximately 45 minutes, and hugely benefits from an additional 60 minutes of facilitated discussion and self-reflection. Participants can then leave with a personalised Wellbeing at Work plan, while also contributing to a collective set of wellbeing feedback for managers to support and enact.
I particularly specialise in delivering clinician wellbeing talks and workshops. Please check out my dedicated page on this here.

Preventative health is a hot topic. But it means nothing if it remains just a phrase with no action.
Prevention is not just about delivering normal services at a different time, earlier diagnosis, hospital admission reduction or more medications.
True prevention requires us to avoid the illness, and even the trajectory towards that illness in the first place (which can often be brewing for years - if not decades - before pathology shows itself). It can also mean shifting the course of an existing illness to avoid more serious complications or suffering down the line.
This talk looks at what an integrative, whole-person model of prevention could look like. What the most powerfully effective approach is likely to be. One that includes all physiological systems, psychology, social determinants of disease and systemic structures.
The most effective prevention needs a whole-systems approach - and that will likely need us to radically shift how we use medical technology.
This talk will explore it all. Spark discussion. Ignite enthusiasm. And broaden our vision of what it will take to make prevention reality rather than rhetoric.
Suitable for expert or clinical teams.
This talk is roughly 60 minutes, but benefits from an additional 60 minutes of facilitated discussion or small group work.

The Wheel of Health is my core framework, exploring the fundamentals of healthy living - without the hype. It covers 6 core areas; nutrition, movement, rest, mindset, health responsibility and connection.
We explore the science that underpins each of these areas, why they all matters, and how they interconnect. We also explore how the wheel approach allows us to take a Good Enough approach to wellbeing, and still get extraordinary change.
This is a liberating, informative, practical talk taking roughly 60 mins (or can be truncated to a short, sharp 30 minute talk). Suitable for both clinical and non-clinical groups.
Handout: The Wheel of Health framework & core health habits to focus on.

Many of us already know at least the basics of what it takes to be healthy. Things like eating our 5-a-day, not smoking, exercising enough.
The challenge comes when trying to do it, consistently, in amongst everything else we have to juggle in life.
Unfortunately, however, this is often where most self-help books or resources stop. We’re so often told what to do, but not how.
This talk dives straight into the how. We explore the 5 core barriers that tend to be getting in our way, which are often hidden or underplayed (in case they stop us trying - or buying). This talk simply switches on the floodlights; lighting up the terrain we’re facing, so we can better see, and then make a plan to work around, these endemic barriers.
We’re supported in doing this by the CLEAR Methodology™ framework; my signature approach to translating knowledge into consistent action by clearing or navigating around our individual barriers - creating a far easier, wider path to walk along.
This is a 60 minute talk, suitable for all audiences.
Handouts: The Hidden Barriers, The Clear Methodology™.
I don’t want fast health.
I don’t want to lose weight in ten days, or try to fix years of burnout overnight. I don’t want ‘miracle’ supplements, biohacks, or expensive gadgets that promise everything but deliver nothing. I don’t want algorithms making decisions for my wellbeing, or marketing that sells hope instead of truth. I don’t want the quick fixes, the quackery, the endless nonsense. I don’t want people profiting from my vulnerability. Capitalising on anxiety and suffering. I don’t want the rebounds, the regret, the delays in seeking real care. I don’t want us to constantly be drawn away from what works into what can be sold.
No. I never did.
I want Slow Health.
I want to build health that lasts fifty years, not five days. Health that nourishes not just my body, but my mind, time, money, family, and the planet too. I want a quiet, grounded approach that says it’s OK to take more time. To tweak rather than overhaul, to build wellbeing gently, sustainably, and realistically. To think about where my health truly comes from, and how to help it stay. To seek connection, to start with what’s free, and to follow what works. To allow wellbeing to flow into the gaps around the rest of my life, rather than trying to barge it’s way right through the middle of everything. To recognise the tidal nature of energy, resources and space I have to attend to myself. To be welcoming, rather than excluding.
Slow Health is the basics, done well, over and over again. It’s found in the small, real, daily moments and decisions that quietly add up to profound, lasting change.
In a world addicted to faster, louder, and more, Slow Health is a calmly radical act.
It’s the decision to stop chasing quick fixes, and start creating health that truly lasts. It’s health, without the hype.
Big Idea: Slow Health
